Membership
Mainly and most importantly it gives YOU as a motorcyclist a voice. MRA representatives are regularly talking to government officials, committees and various road groups. They also talk to the media, and help with safety and motorcycling forums. By taking up membership you are supporting these activities.
Want an issue discussed? Want some action? Got ideas? The Monthly meetings are a great place to put your ideas forward and have them discussed by other members, and if necessary they can be taken up by the officers of the club to the appropriate authorities. You can also effect change by casting your vote for the things that interest you.
So even if you would like to see something happen, but don't know how to progress it yourself, the monthly meetings are the opportunities that members have to come in and get involved.
The MRA also holds regular day rides and social events as well as some high profile yearly events.
